Thanks to our dedicated leadership team for coming together in July to strategize the upcoming year of action and advocacy. Our priorities for the year include 

  • Reflecting on the power of our community and the opportunities we have to bring our community together to advocate for change 
  • Areas for influence on political advocacy 
  • Creating more power in the education field and intersections with political power to influence change

The Womxn of Color in Education Committee is proud to announce our endorsements for 2021 school board candidates. These  candidates represent our vision for shifting power to people of color to improve educational systems to ensure all kids succeed in school and life.  With a fierce commitment to equity and closing gaps, we thank them for their courage to step up for our children and communities and welcome them to the WoCE family.
