2022 WOCE Summer Leadership Retreat

Thanks to our dedicated leadership team for coming together in July to strategize the upcoming year of action and advocacy. Our priorities for the year include 

  • Reflecting on the power of our community and the opportunities we have to bring our community together to advocate for change 
  • Areas for influence on political advocacy 
  • Creating more power in the education field and intersections with political power to influence change

The WOC in Education Steering Committee consists of a core group of leaders who manage the day-to-day operations, events, candidate recruitment and fundraising.

The Womxn of Color in Education Committee is proud to announce our endorsements for 2021 school board candidates.
